About me

Erin Zines is a self-taught artist and painter having re-started her artistic journey during the pandemic. Erin has always been drawn to the arts having performed in community theater, played the bassoon in an orchestra, and published photos in a start up art magazine. However, her path diverted, leading her to teaching math and science for 9 years before becoming a stay at home mom. Her creativity began to shine in raising her son and eventually morphed into painting. Erin joined the  Paletteers Art Club and became a juried member in the spring of 2023. She is also a member of the Mamarazzi Photography Club.

The Venn in Venn Arts Collective was born from the idea that life needs balance and in the middle, where things come together, there is Art. Art can be seen in all aspects of life and without this expression, creativity, and desire, learning is stifled. She is always trying to learn new things and will continue to apply that to her artwork.  She is inspired by the world around her and enjoys the art of the everyday.
